I am looking for my family also. My great grandfather was born in Alabama don't know what part. his name was Hugh Brewer he later moved his family to Pageland, SC. He had 11 children: Vander, Fletcher, Joe, Sallie, Leonard, Ola, Rebecca, Boyd, Llyod, Garrilos these were by his first wife Mary Ellen.
By his second wife he also had 11 childen. He owned property in SC
would love to have any information.

My mother was a Brewer. I was excited to see this site. My ancestors are decended from one John Davis Brewer. I cannot seem to go back any further. He was born in 1817 in NC. Died 1877 in Panola Co., MS. He was married the first time to Lavina Caffey. They had ten children. He was married the second time to my g-grandmother Nancy Pollan. They had five children. My grandfather Alphonso P. Brewer was one of these. If anyone has a connection or would like the info I have please email me. Love to share.
